Becoming a coach ::
Many people who experience coaching are inspired to consider it as a career, and we would certainly recommend it! We have been lucky enough to receive help and guidance from a number of coaches as we moved into this profession and we are happy to share our experiences with others who are considering making that step.
If you are considering coach training, the International Coach Federation is the pre-eminent worldwide body for accrediting coach training schools, and their website provides some resources for those considering coaching as a career.
A range of training schools are available, meeting differing needs. When we looked for a training school in 2001 the best by far for us was Coach U (and they still are!). Their training is first class and some of the best coaches that we have encountered around the world are Coach U trained. In fact, we liked them so much we help them with admissions here in Europe!
